skuroとは

加賀、能登、越中の中間にある津幡町笠野。
古くから交通の要所であった山間の地域には、小さな集落が点在しています。
その一つ七黒(シチクロ)が、私たちの活動拠点です。
SKUROは　農事組合法人 かさの郷 と共にお米作りをしています。
同時に、竹炭や黒米餅をはじめ、この地域に潜在する資源を見い出し、
魅力として発信していきます。

かさの郷（カサノゴウ）

2016年、集落の農家五軒が集まり、
農事組合法人かさの郷を結成しました。
笠野地域は山々に囲まれた盆地です。朝夕の寒暖差があり、
水に恵まれた環境で、昔から良質なお米が作られていました。
しかし、社会の変容にともない人口が減り、農家が減り、
田畑や山林の荒廃が目立つようになりました。
かさの郷は地域農業の担い手として、豊かな土壌、
田んぼのある風景を守り継いでいきます。

About SKURO

Tsubatamachi-kasano is located among Kaga,Noto and Ecchu.
This mountainous area is well known as a key point for traffic since long ago,
and there are numerous small communities.
We are based in one of these communities called “Shichikuro”.
SKURO’s mission is not only to take part in rice farming with APCC(*) Kasano-gou,
but also to discover the potential local resources in the region,
and spread the area’s appeal.

Agricultural Producers’ Cooperative Corporation)

It was established by 5 farmers in the community in 2016.
The Kasano area is a basin/valley surrounded by mountains.
Thanks to the rich water environment and drastic change in temperature
between morning and night, the land has produced high quality rice.
However, the population, as well as the number of farmers have been decreasing as
society transforms. As a result, farmland, mountains, and forests has been devastated.
Kasano-gou attempts to protect the rich soil and rice field landscapes
as leaders of region’s agriculture.
